THE BEGINNING

OUR STORY

Since 2002, SITKC has produced events locally in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Wellington, and Palm Beach Island. We specialize in working closely with our clients to create custom menus and provide comprehensive event-planning services from beginning to end, including rental of tables, linens, dishes, cutlery, glassware and more. Our experienced kitchen staff, servers and bartenders will create a memorable event for you and your guests.

OWNER/CHEF

JUNIPER SCHILDT-TORRES

Juniper Schildt-Torres has more than 20 years’ experience as a chef, working in numerous highly acclaimed restaurants in New York, Colorado, New Mexico and Florida before founding Someone’s in the Kitchen Catering in 2002. A West Palm Beach native, Juniper was a James Beard nominee and earned the 2003 title “Best Dinner and a Movie” from the New York Times, among many other local awards.

Together with her catering team’s years of experience in the hotel, restaurant and catering industries, Juniper creates custom events tailored to her clients’ tastes that leave a last impression on everyone in attendance. Juniper’s goal is to share her love for healthy, delicious, beautifully presented food and event-planning experience to make each event an unforgettable one.

JOJO TORRES

With more than 20 years of experience in the culinary field, Chef Jojo Torres brings an eclectic palette to Someone’s in the Kitchen Catering. Known for using various cooking styles and techniques to create traditional dishes from around the world, Jojo brings an unparalleled breadth of culinary knowledge and unique flavor to SITKC.

Prior to joining SITKC, Jojo was the Executive Chef at SandyJames Fine Food and Productions in West Palm Beach, FL for 11 years. There he delighted guests including President Barack Obama, Tiger Woods, Martha Stewart, Jeb Bush, Stephen Ross, Serena Williams and Rick Scott. This experience, coupled with having worked at some of the country’s finest and most elite restaurants, enables Jojo to add an exquisite touch to SITKC events.
